Supplied by Cleaning Associates Group and Chemspec Direct, Chemtreat is a time-tested wool treatment compound designed to inhibit and retard wool disintegration from organic and insect sources.
Moth Proof carpet for storage by spraying face and back fibres.
General Usage Instructions for use: Vacuum thoroughly. Unless carpet is new, clean before applying treatment.
Spray properly diluted solution, using a pressure sprayer, 12 inches above carpet surface.
Follow a definite pattern up and down and then back and forth over area four feet square to ensure adequate coverage.
(Normal coverage is 300 to 400 square feet per ready-to-use gallon. Deep pile carpet requires more.)
Treat edges of carpet thoroughly.
Wool fibre treatment should be used along quarter round edges of wall to wall carpeting, and carpet should be pulled back and solution should be sprayed under the carpet.
Free rugs should be sprayed on both the face and back fibres.
Hints and Tips Directions: To make 4L of wool fibre treatment, dilute 18 grams (1 scoop) of Chemtreat™ Wool Fibre Treatment to 4L of ready to use Formula 161™.
