Supplied by Cleaning Associates Group & Chemspec Direct, Chemspec Grip Soot is a revoluitonary, patented and unique system formulated for the removal of ingrained contamination from dry surfaces, and is found to be especially useful in Fire Damage and Flood Damage conditions.
Especially appropriate for the removal of Carbon contamination in the form of Soot and typical Smoke Damage Deposits.
Grip Soot is easy to use and there is no MESS or spray or dust. Suitable for critically sensitive environments where other processes have to be ruled out for one reason or another, (including preclusion of extensive moisture or free water flowing in the immediate environment).
Clean up is easy, simple and fast.
Specifically formulated 2 part latex restorer suitable for most wood, stone and some other friable & non-friable surfaces.
The product is a water based quick drying sacrificial latex coating.
Once applied, it penetrates deep into the surface and adheres to soil and soot.
Coverage:
Varies between 700g -1kg per square metre.
Coverage per kit approx 15msq. Depending on materials and condiitons.
For heavy soiling, a second application maybe necessary.
Procedure:
Apply by roller, cheap decorator's brush (not cleanable after use), paint pad or other convenient means.
Leave to dry and cure.
Allow 24 to 48 hours to dry (drying will vary depending on external factors).
Once fully dry remove Grip Soot by peeling.
Damp wipe/sponge the surface to remove final traces of soil/product residue that may remain on the surface.
